After a long day of taping Martha, the blind stylist who cut our hair (video link below!), we ventured out through a torrential downpour for dinner at Red Robin. Obed, who was born blind without eyes (bilateral anophthalmia), and who has cerebral palsy, autism, severe intellectual disabilities, and is non-verbal, tries eating a lemon and arm wrestles with mom. Jesse, who was born blind and autistic, and also has intellectual disabilities, tries eating some chicken tortilla soup. Jesse has sensory issues with food, and therefore rarely takes table food, but she has been making some progress with different soups lately.
