Bethany, born blind in Thailand and adopted when she was 7, is getting braces on her teeth, and she is super excited about it.
She and David head to the orthodontist, get a bite to eat at Chuys Tex-Mex, where they just happen to have braille menus, and then on to navigating the escalators at Burlington Coat Factory, where apparently they no longer stock a large collection of coats. Then on to Dairy Queen for blizzards in freezing cold weather.
