Jesse, who is 18, and who was born blind, is non-verbal autistic, and has intellectual disabilities, just got a new transport chair to help her with transitions, meltdowns, and having to walk long distances. But her sister Hannah (age 24) needs to check it out first with some fun rides in the foyer.
Mom took Jesse to the dentist, and using the transport chair, was able to get Jesse through a teeth cleaning appointment but not having to transition Jesse to a waiting room chair, then a dentist chair.
Then Jesse and Mom met Dad for lunch to celebrate and Jesse had one of her favorite treats, a milk shake!
Jesse and Hannah were both adopted (at different times) from Korea at age 2.
