Abi, who is 18, and was born blind, had a graduation party at her high school today with her “Best Buddies” group. Abi is proud to wear the cap and gown and the school colors, red and black! Her friends gathered around for pizza and cupcakes and a few photos.
We adopted Abi from India when she was 3 years old. She is blind due to cryptophthalmia as a result of having a rare genetic disorder called Fraser Syndrome.
