SixBlindKids – Hannah and Jesse Take US Citizenship Oath – Hannah Sings the National Anthem

Hannah, who was born blind with no eyes (bilateral anophthalmia) and Jesse who was born blind with ROP, is autistic, intellectually disabled and non-verbal, are receiving their US Certificates of Citizenship in today’s ceremony. Hannah were both adopted separately from Korea at age 2, so they’ve both been “US Citizens” a long time, but didn’t have the “Certificate” saying so.

Hannah was honored to be able to sing the National Anthem during the ceremony, and Jesse slept through the whole ceremony.

Sister Bethany accompanied Dad, Jesse, and Hannah to the ceremony.

Bethany and Abigail received their Certificates of Citizenship a few years ago in a similar ceremony at the same USCIS office.
